Impact fretting (MODE II)

Description:

In order to characterise the fretting wear and contact fatigue of materials, an equipment was designed and fabricated. The apparatus produce a contact fatigue or wear at single point, through the application of an oscillatory normal load between a ball and a flat surface. In this technique, always a static normal load acting on the surface (s).

Standard ball Ø = 10 mm
